Oh-Ebashi provides
consultation and advice for various aspects of an enterprise’s
activities which may have antitrust implications, including such
transactions as those involving distribution policies and licensing,
collaborations, M&A, premiums and representations, and subcontracting
arrangements.
Oh-Ebashi also provides representation in antitrust-related disputes,
including investigations and proceedings before the Fair Trade Commission
connected to cartels or bid rigging allegations, legal actions for
damages and compensation, and injunction proceedings. In addition,
Oh-Ebashi also provides advance consultation and notification services
to the Fair Trade Commission in relation to mergers and other corporate
activities.
Finally, through cooperation with antitrust specialists in various
countries, Oh-Ebashi also provides legal support to companies of Japanese
origin who are faced with antitrust violation overseas, particularly
in the United States and Europe.
