Miriam Rose Ivan L. Pereira is a Counsel of the firm and a registered foreign lawyer licensed in both the Philippines and the State of New York. Since she joined Oh-Ebashi in 2008, she has been supporting multiple transactions and investments in Asia, the U.S. and Europe, and regularly deals with contractual, intellectual property, labor and other issues. She has been assisting Japanese clients in cross-border deals involving fund investments, loan agreements, franchising, licensing, sales, distribution, business alliances, joint ventures, acquisitions, transfers and other business transactions. As a Filipino lawyer, she advises clients concerning contracts, investments and other Philippine legal matters. Together with local lawyers, she has supported foreign clients in setting up, operating or restructuring their businesses in Japan. She is adept as well in international arbitration and multi-jurisdiction litigation.
