A special collaboration session was held to promote D&I

On November 21, 2025, Oh-Ebashi LPC & Partners held a special session with a theme of promoting diversity and inclusion (D&I).

In this session, we welcomed from Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Limited, Ms. Atsuko Kakihara (Audit & Supervisory Board Member; Chair, Diversity and Inclusion Sub-Committee, Kansai Economic Federation) and other members from relevant divisions, including the DE&I Management Section of the Human Resources Planning Department. At the session, they kindly shared valuable information and stories including the company's history regarding the promotion of D&I over the past 15 years and specific initiatives for company-wide adoption.

In the latter half of the session, a panel discussion was held featuring Ms. Kakihara and Teppei Mogi, one of the attorneys involved in the launch of the D&I Working Group within our firm, over topics including the significance of and challenges in promoting D&I at companies and law firms. Questions were taken both at the meeting room and online, and tasks and solutions directly applicable to daily practice were shared.

Our firm launched the D&I Working Group three years ago, and has continuously conducted various activities. This session gave us a precious opportunity to consider in a new light the significance of promoting D&I at our firm. We continue to take various initiatives for the promotion of D&I and aim to create an environment in which everyone can play an active role.
