Examination of the "Non-statutory Medical Examination" and the "Employee with Suicidal Thoughts"
Legal issues related to health information in the workplace are not only essential themes in the field of occupational health law but also present challenging and often perplexing decisions in the practice of occupational health. This paper is structured to raise specific issues in the field of occupational health, such as the handling of non-statutory health checkups and crisis management situations like suicidal ideation, by raising questions and repositioning these issues within a legal framework. The aim is to deepen discussions on the topic through cross-talk between law and occupational health practice and to delineate the roles of occupational physicians and occupational health professionals (co-authorship).
